Menceritakan seorang laki-laki jenius Kagami Junichirou yang berhasil membuktikan teori “dokodemo door” atau dikenal sebagai pintu ke mana saja (salah satu alat ajaib dari peralatan rahasia Doraemon). Akan tetapi sosok Kagami Junichirou menghilang dari dunia sains begitu saja dan tidak diketahui keberadaannya? Ternyata…. Kagami Junichirou sekarang berhenti dari dunia sains dan bekerja menjadi penjaga (guardian) dirumahnya sendiri (sebenarnya sih jadi hikkikomori/Neet) dan menjalani hidupnya sebagai OTAKU!
